As the hospitality and travel industry continues to grow locally, it’s important to provide quality customer service to visitors—and keep them coming back. Though tourism has been around for years in our area, only recently have large-scale national events begun to bring in thousands upon thousands of visitors at a time—requiring a higher level of customer service for success.

In keeping with our reputation as a hospitable place to visit, the Bristol CVB, Abingdon CVB, and Bristol Motor Speedway are working together to implement a nationally recognized customer service program titled “ACE” (Achieving Customer Excellence) year round. Three to four training programs will be offered each year to the service industry. Through this training, the region will be more equipped to provide a high level of customer service and uphold Bristol’s and Tri-Cities reputation as a friendly, hospitable place to visit.
