Classic Movie Corner: The Wizard of Oz

Throughout September and October, library patrons and visitors had the opportunity to vote on their favorite classic movie to show at our Classic Movie Corner in November.  Ballots have now been cast and counted, and the Bristol Public Library is pleased to announce we will offer a free presentation of The Wizard of Oz (1939) on November 30 at 5:30 p.m.
 
Starring Judy Garland and Frank Morgan, The Wizard of Oz is a classic story of adventure and magic.  Dorothy (Garland) has always longed for adventure; instead, she finds herself stuck in Kanas.  But when a tornado hits her aunt’s homestead and whisks her away to the magical Land of Oz, Dorothy just might get more of an adventure than she ever bargained for!
 
Popcorn and water will be available for movie attendees, so make sure to drop in for a special showing of this exciting classic!
