Description
The Race/Walk for a Drug Free Bristol is a fundraising event for The VERITAS Foundation. The VERITAS Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization that was established for the purpose of assisting the State-authorized drug court by providing financial support from private contributions. Funding for The VERITAS Foundation is critical to its mission to support the VERITAS Adult Drug Treatment Court. The VERITAS Foundation is supported by a local Board of Directors from within our local community. The VERITAS Adult Drug Treatment Court relies primarily on grant funding and private contributions to continue operations. It serves adult nonviolent, drug-addicted felony offenders under the jurisdiction of the Bristol, VA Circuit Court.
